Hatyai golden crown grand hotel was the hotel we chose for our latest trip to Hatyai. The reviews that mentioned the flowery location of this place close to Kim Yong Market, close to food and reasonable price were the reasons we picked this place.
Hatyai golden crown hotel itself wasn’t too shabby when checked in the first day, it was slightly old but nothing major. Also overall, it was clean. The check in was quite quick and the reception staff were very friendly. The bed was soft and the bathroom was clean and there were all necessary amenities in it and our room was quite huge so and it was very spacious. Some of the furniture was not very new, but the air conditioning was cool and comfortable.
That location however, is, without a doubt, the main positive of this hotel. There were a bunch of restaurants nearby, including rice porridge spots, dim sum places, Malaysian-style tea shops, and we could walk to Kim Yong Market in under a few minutes. It is also within walking distance from Lee Gardens Plaza if you are one of those who love shopping, so no need to arrange for a motor bike taxi!
For breakfast, the hotel provides halal food, thus a big plus for Malaysian tourists. For the rice porridge and dim sum, I tried personally and the taste wasn’t bad, nothing special but still good.
Overall, the stay was good. Considering you are not expecting luxury, this hotel is very well located and very convenient. Plus, the price is reasonable. If you visit Hatyai and also want a hotel with reasonable price, big room like this is a great choice too! 🏨✨🍲😊
