With that being said, the first thing that I wanted when looking for a place to stay in Hat Yai is for a good location and a low price. Hatyai Hotel Grand Plaza seemed to check those boxes, so I decided to give it a try.
Once there, the location was truely great. In city center, hotel is walk distances to Kim Yong Market and Central Hatyai, so I won’t need any transportation. When there were plenty of restaurants nearby, it was really convenient to get a meal and there was plus that it was plus. There were also rooms with a bathtub, a small surprise, and the room size was not too small nor too big.
The hotel company needs to enhance their operations from the start because that’s when they placed me here. The room had dust but my evaluation proved it was not strictly clean. Age-related furniture combined with thin walls made me realize how loud neighbors can be during my stay. The breakfast selection appeared small but tasted fine.
The hotel offers great location at reasonable prices. The Hatyai Hotel Grand Plaza performs well for tourists who prefer dated rooms near top tourist destinations and whose rooms face little noise.
