As soon as I came in, I knew the hotel’s parking area— not always easy to find in city centre hotels like this.
The lobby was open, airy, very clean on walking into it. No long waiting time at check in, the reception staff were warm, friendly and welcoming.
Stepping into my room, I was amazed as it was so spacious. The decor was modern, everything was spotless and the bed was a large and perfectly soft. I knew I was going to have a wonderful night’s sleep lying down on it. There was cool air conditioning, a flat screen TV, a fridge and a kettle all ready in the room. I was most impressed by the bathroom though, actually—it was super clean and the water pressure was strong, and after that shower, it made for a very refreshing day.
That night, as I had to explore the area close to the hotel. There was Kim Yong Market, one of Hat Yai’s famous places for souvenirs, just a few steps away. Snacks, dried goods and imported products from Malaysia are sold here. Initially, I had a short walk till Lee Garden Plaza filled with famous Dim sum, chicken biryani, dessert shops, and some cozy cafes. This means you will never go hungry staying here.
The next morning, I woke up feeling completely refreshed—thanks to the super comfortable bed. Before checking out, I stopped by Pink Elephant, the hotel’s restaurant, for breakfast. The food was flavorful, offering both Thai and Western options. While breakfast wasn’t included in the room rate, I found it to be well worth the price.
Before leaving, I took another stroll around the hotel.
